Big fat choccy eggs!

Hi everyone,

Here's hoping that you are all well and have recovered from the Easter School break!! Seems funny now to me that the school breaks don't really effect me and my boys like they used to. Still i suppose that's what comes with having a 18 & 16 year old. One is out to work and the other just asks for money to go out!

One thing that didn't change was the disgusting amount of easter eggs that we seemed to have in our house, ranging from flake to oreo's!! And you know the problem with that, you just seem to get in your head ' if I eat them all then they will be gone'!!!!!

I've started back to swimming again today, feel as thoughi have to do something, especially as i'm facing my second lot of back surgery in september ( forget the fact that we are goingto tunisia in aug)!

Anyhow, feel free to chat to me, love to you all.xx

Have a little moan!

Hi guys,

Seems ages since I last typed on here. In actual fact i just haven,t been in the mood. Have any of you felt like that?

World and life just goes by so damn quick, it seems that I hardly stop to think and another week has just flown by.

I think i'll just use this blog to chat to you all about anything and evrything that comes into my head and you guys can use it too. It's always nice to have somewhere that we can go to have a bit of a moan and if that happens to be here then feel free! We all need that bit of release sometimes!!

Just been intouch with the complaints team for the NHS! Have been waiting exactly  1 year for my spinal operation and still no nearer to getting a date, hence why the moan!!!

Come on people....... Moan at me, about anything you like, i'll try and reply to everyone but don't feel alone, share!!

Thursday, 3 March 2011

Hello everyone!

Well it,s been a couple of days since I last wrote on here and would you believe it it,s Thursday already!!! Yeah!
My eldest, you,ll be glad to hear, is back to normal after fully recovering from tonsilitis. I,m really glad because there's nothing worse than your lil darlings worrying you anymore than they already do. He even decided to play for the school in a footie match in which, he tells me very seriously, he even nearly scored!

I,m recovering from my second hand tonsillitis germs and the antibiotics are doing their job - slowly! Much to my husbands annoyance as I cough and splutter and very loudly snore at night ( I don,t usually I,ll have you know) .

But hey, you'll never guess, my youngest (12)woke up this morning with some achy limbs, sore throat and feeling a little bit lousy. But he has gone to school, I am certain that if they feel the need they won,t hesitate to call and bump him home.

So, that's the week up to Thursday, what else will happen - we can only wait and see!!

Speak soon.xxx

Trip to the doc's!

Well, there we have it - the next installment to my exciting life, my wonderful, eldest son did give me his germs. For free, I hasten to add, officially giving me tonsillitis! Now I know what your all thinking, I should feel grateful that my 14 ur old wants to give me something let alone speak to me but come on!!!!

So, here I am again on antibiotics. I was only on them last week for a gum infection so at any time now I,ll be buzzing and I,m hoping the effect will last for polygyny about an hr!!!

Hi guys!

Hello to everone old and new! How are we all doing today?

Just want you to know that you can use this blog to unburden yourselves with all the mummy feelings that a lot of us never have the chance to talk about - whether it,s about the washing machine breaking down in the middle of a wash or the fit new window cleaner thats suddenly appeared outside your bedroom window!

ANYTHING YOU WANT

ANYTHING YOU WANT TO SAY

We will all listen and possibly give you our opinion too!

Sunday, 27 February 2011

Well, what a Sunday it,s been! My eldest, who,s 14 , has been ill all through half term with flu and tonsillitis. You can only imagine what an exciting time we,ve had this week! He,s already filled with the joys of spring but add on top of that the heavy weight on illness on his shoulders then, boy, this week just crawled by.

I,ve been very good though, super mummy mode has been in full swing and I can say that I,ve easily outdone myself this time! He,s been waited on hand and foot, tucked up on the settee with the remote control permanently stuck to his hand and the non stop supply of junk food and drinks being plied down his throat. But hey, it doesn't,t stop there, not only did I have to cope with a sicky boy but I also had my 12 year old to entertain as well. I think the xbox360 has been close to overheating quite a few times this week but what do we do, anything for an easy life. We work hard, cleaning, cooking and basically being on call for 24 hrs so I think we mums deserve to cheat once in a while and let them have the chance to do what they want! Well within reason anyway.

So, as I started to say, what a Sunday it,s been. Would you believe it, went to bed last night feeling pretty awful. Aches and pains, shivers and sweats and the sorest throat I have ever had!

Thank you my dearest son for sharing your germs so freely with your mummy. Luv u loads!!!!!
